Almost everybody knows this shocking and exciting serial. Already 6 seasons of “Game of Thrones” we watch stark power war between the kings. Does this ring any bells? Of course, we know that everything there is a fantasy. But let’s think big! It’s all about business.

Just take a look at these rulers: there are only several of them who are still alive in such cruel competitive conditions. But why? Why do they win, and what qualities do they have to be strong leaders?

We’ll have a hot topic and try to find the main best traits for the real strong leader. And the most famous characters will help us today.

The Most Charismatic “Game of Thrones” Leaders

Cersei Lannister

This lady is as cunning as a fox and very dangerous. Her character is steady-as-a-rock, and she can do everything possible to gain her goal. She always gets what she wants.

Being the Queen Regent of Seven Kingdoms, she has a great influence on all business and rules her throne even after the awful shame. Close and strange relations with a family, wisdom on the brink of craziness, and the wish of power make her wise but cruel dictator.

Here is what she thinks:

“A good king knows when to save his strength and when to destroy his enemies.”

Carefully Baelish goes round about to his goal during all seasons of “Game of Thrones”. We could think that he’s not a real leader, or he’s someone who doesn’t pretend the throne. But prowling quite like a cat, he successfully moves closer to the highest positions and can influence almost everything.

Here is what he thinks:

“A man with no motive is a man no one suspects. Always keep your foes confused.”

Daenerys Targaryen

Game of Thrones leader

Daenerys Stormborn, the Princes of House Targaryen, Khaleesi, and finally, the Mother of Dragons. It would seem to be that this young and beautiful girl is just a weak blonde. But she is a powerful and strong woman, who is even more dangerous than our famous Cersei.

Daenerys is a real successful and wise leader. She conquers the armies and nations by her incontestable charisma, the strength of words and… little nothings – dragons and an army of Unsullied. She respects her followers and has no fears. Daenerys wants to be a democratic leader for free people.

Here is what Daenerys thinks:

“I do not bring you commands. I bring you a choice.”

What useful we can learn from her character:

  • mildness and sternness when it’s needed;
  • great leadership and oratory skills;
  • ability to convince and negotiation skills;
  • courageous and decisive character;
  • competitive strengths (in the form of dragons, for example:)
  • the army of dedicated followers, who believe in her.

Tyrion Lannister

He is not tall but has a clear head. Intellect, braveness, and charisma are united in one person. He is not so strong as the previous heroes, but his strength is in his brain.

Tyrion is a perfect manager among “Game of Thrones” characters. He can find the way out from any difficult situation. Doesn’t it mean that he pretends for victory with the wise delegation of authority?

Here is what he thinks:

“Every time we deal with an enemy, we create two more.”

What useful we can learn from his character:

  • the ability to outrage public opinion;
  • oratory and negotiation skills;
  • intelligence and strategic thinking;
  • flexibility and ability to convince;
  • courage and great management skills.

John Snow

Game of Thrones leader

And finally, the last hero of our today’s leaders list is John Snow, who has already been the Lord Commander of Night Watch.

Who is he? – He is Ned Stark’s bastard son with the qualities of a powerful ruler, who doesn’t command people – he leads them. John even has already got the followers in the face of his past enemies. He is a raised up trusted leader with the great chances for gaining the throne.

Here is what he thinks:

“For a little while, you’re more than just you.”

What useful we can learn from his character:

  • ability to lead people;
  • courage and wisdom;
  • respect for promises and respect for people;
  • honesty and ability to deal with competitors;
